In Italy, chicken or veal piccata is usually served as the secondo, or main course. In other countries, particularly the United States, it tends to be served with pasta on the side. Who cares? It’s beautiful any way you want to serve it. And it is totally Italian, just like me! I love serving this dish over the holidays because it’s a crowd-pleaser, and very easy to make for a big group.
